Cedar Valley View studio interior with natural light

Where Light Meets Vision

A photography studio designed for creators who demand space, silence, and soul.

The moment you step inside, the scent of aged cedar beams and the hum of the HVAC system fade into the background. What remains is 4,200 square feet of raw potential—flooded with golden-hour light through 12-foot north-facing windows, framed by the quiet confidence of a space built for focus. No distractions. No compromises. Just you, your subject, and the perfect shot waiting to happen.

This Isn’t Just a Studio. It’s Your Creative Sanctuary.

Every detail has been crafted to disappear—so your work can take center stage.

We didn’t just build a studio. We engineered an environment where creativity thrives. The floors are poured concrete, polished to a soft matte finish that absorbs sound and reflects light without glare. The walls are lined with reclaimed cedar, chosen for its warm undertones and natural ability to diffuse harsh shadows. Even the air feels different here—filtered, climate-controlled, and kept at a steady 72°F to keep your subjects comfortable and your equipment stable.

🪟

12-Foot North-Facing Windows

Natural light that doesn’t quit. These floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in soft, diffused illumination from sunrise to sunset, eliminating the need for artificial fill in most scenarios. The light is so consistent, you’ll forget you’re indoors.

🔇

Soundproofed Walls & Acoustic Panels

The outside world doesn’t exist here. Our studio is wrapped in mineral wool insulation and finished with perforated plywood panels, creating a space so quiet you can hear the shutter click from across the room. Perfect for voiceovers, interviews, or simply thinking without interruption.

🪵

Reclaimed Cedar Accent Walls

Warmth you can feel. The cedar isn’t just for aesthetics—it’s a functional element that softens harsh light and adds depth to your backgrounds. The grain tells a story, the knots add character, and the scent? Pure Pacific Northwest.

🧱

Polished Concrete Floors

Durable, reflective, and endlessly versatile. These floors can handle anything from a 300-pound product setup to a sprawling family portrait. The subtle sheen bounces light upward, filling shadows naturally without the need for extra gear.

🌡️

Climate-Controlled Environment

No more sweating models or shivering newborns. Our HVAC system maintains a steady 72°F year-round, with humidity levels kept between 40-50% to protect your equipment and keep your subjects comfortable for hours on end.

🌑

Blackout Curtains & Scrims

Total control over light, whenever you need it. Our 12-foot-wide blackout curtains glide effortlessly along ceiling tracks, allowing you to shape the space from a sun-drenched loft to a moody, controlled studio in seconds.

Dedicated Client Lounge

A space for your clients to relax between shots. Sink into our leather armchairs, sip locally roasted coffee from Stumptown, and browse through our curated selection of photography books while your team works their magic.

🔒

Secure Equipment Storage

Lock up your gear with peace of mind. Each rental includes access to a private, climate-controlled storage room with individual lockers. Charge your batteries, stash your bags, and know everything’s exactly where you left it.

Spaces Tailored to Your Vision

From sprawling commercial sets to intimate portrait studios, every inch of Cedar Valley View is designed to adapt to your needs.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. That’s why we’ve divided our 4,200 square feet into three distinct spaces, each with its own personality and purpose. Whether you’re shooting a 100-person e-commerce campaign or a quiet portrait session, you’ll find the perfect canvas for your work.

Hear It from the Creators Who’ve Been Here

Real words from real clients—because the best way to know what it’s like to shoot here is to hear from those who have.

We could tell you how great our studio is, but we’d rather let our clients do the talking. These testimonials come from photographers, brands, and artists who’ve experienced Cedar Valley View firsthand. Their words are the reason we do what we do.

I’ve shot in studios from LA to NYC, and Cedar Valley View is hands-down my favorite. The light is incredible, the gear is top-notch, and the space just *feels* right. I booked a half-day for a product shoot and ended up staying the whole week. Worth every penny.

As a fashion photographer, I need a space that’s as dynamic as my subjects. The Loft’s high ceilings and natural light let me play with scale and movement in ways I can’t anywhere else. Plus, the team is always there to help with last-minute requests—like when I needed a steamer at 7 AM. Lifesavers.

We chose Cedar Valley View for our brand’s product launch campaign, and it was the best decision we made. The space was exactly as advertised—clean, professional, and flooded with natural light. The gear was in perfect condition, and the team made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in. Our images turned out better than we imagined, and we’ve already booked our next shoot.

I was nervous about my first newborn session in a studio, but The Nook put me at ease. The soft light and warm tones made the baby (and the parents) feel comfortable, and the soundproofing meant I could focus on capturing those tiny, fleeting moments. The team even helped me set up a cozy little nest with their prop library. I’ll be back for every session.

Jamie Rivera

We needed a space for a 3-day e-commerce shoot with 50+ looks, and Cedar Valley View delivered. The Loft’s open layout let us set up multiple stations at once, and the gear was so reliable that we didn’t lose a single minute to technical issues. The client was thrilled, and we walked away with over 1,000 images that required minimal retouching. A dream come true.

Questions We Hear Often

Because the best clients are the ones who ask the right questions.

We love curiosity. Whether you’re a first-time renter or a seasoned pro, we’ve answered some of the most common questions we get about Cedar Valley View. If you don’t see yours here, just ask—we’re happy to help.

What’s included in my studio rental?

Every rental includes access to your chosen space, our full gear inventory (unless you’ve opted for a gear-free rental), private storage lockers, the prop library, and the styling station. You’ll also have access to our client lounge, restrooms, and complimentary coffee and water. Need something extra? Just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate most requests.

Do you offer gear rentals without the studio space?

Yes! If you’d like to rent our gear for an off-site shoot, we offer daily and weekly rental packages. Our gear is available for pickup during studio hours, and we’ll provide you with a detailed checklist to ensure you return everything in the same condition. Note that gear-only rentals require a 50% deposit and proof of insurance.

Can I bring my own gear?

Absolutely. We encourage you to bring your own cameras, lenses, and any specialty equipment you prefer. Our studio is designed to accommodate a wide range of gear, and our team is always available to help you integrate it with our lighting and tethering setups. Just let us know in advance if you’ll need any specific adapters or accessories.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your rental, we’ll refund your deposit in full if you notify us at least 72 hours before your scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 72 hours will result in a 50% refund of your deposit. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit the full deposit.

Do you offer discounts for long-term rentals?

Yes! We offer discounted rates for rentals of 5 days or more. Our weekly rate is equivalent to 5 days of studio time, and our monthly rate is equivalent to 20 days. These rates include a dedicated storage locker and priority booking for your preferred dates. Contact us for a custom quote based on your project’s needs.

Is the studio accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes. Cedar Valley View is fully ADA-compliant. Our entrance is step-free, and we have an accessible restroom on-site. The studio spaces are designed to accommodate wheelchairs, and our team is trained to assist with any additional needs. If you or someone on your team requires specific accommodations, please let us know when you book so we can ensure a smooth experience.

Can I use the studio for non-photography purposes?

While our studio is primarily designed for photography, we do allow other creative uses on a case-by-case basis. This includes video production, podcast recordings, small workshops, and private events. Additional fees may apply for non-photography rentals, and we require a detailed description of your plans in advance. Please contact us to discuss your project.

Do you provide assistants or stylists?

We don’t provide in-house assistants or stylists, but we’re happy to recommend trusted professionals in the Seattle area. Our studio manager can connect you with lighting assistants, hair and makeup artists, prop stylists, and more. Just let us know what you need when you book, and we’ll point you in the right direction.

What’s your policy on food and drinks in the studio?

We allow food and drinks in the client lounge and storage areas, but we ask that you keep them out of the shooting spaces to protect our gear and surfaces. If you’re planning a long shoot, we recommend bringing snacks and water—we have a fridge and microwave available for your use. For larger productions, we can arrange catering through one of our preferred vendors.

How do I book a studio tour?

We’d love to show you around! Studio tours are available by appointment during our business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM). You can book a tour online using our interactive calendar, or give us a call at +81 90-6863-2981.
